The Power Ball are one of the most significant features that influence the player's gameplay. Power balls will immediately trigger their effects when the ball makes contact with them.
There are three types of Power Ball in the game:
"Switchy Ball" is an powerball that only appears in the local multiplayer feature and in the second level (Matrix).
Switchy Ball introduces a reverse mechanic control to the player, where the input is reversed. For instance, pressing 'W' will produce an 'S' output, and vice versa.
Switchy Ball has a duration of 3 seconds, with a countdown displayed alongside information indicating that the effect is active. During this time, a reverse sound effect will be audible, and both players' colors will change to green to signify the effect's activation.
"Shaker Ball" is a power ball that appears in the first level (Purple Sky), local multiplayer, and will make frequent appearances in upcoming levels.
Shaker Ball induces a powerful screen-shaking effect, creating an earthquake-like sensation. This effect is accompanied by a disruptive red hue that impairs players' vision.
The earthquake effect from the Shaker Ball lasts for 1 second.
"Black Boulder" is a power ball that is smaller in size compared to other power balls. It appears in the same levels as the Shaker Ball.
The Black Boulder acts as a solid rock and will bounce the ball upon contact. After making contact with the ball, the Black Boulder will shatter and disappear.
The Black Boulder is considered a dangerous power ball as it can deflect the ball towards the player who originally aimed it, creating an additional challenge in gameplay.
Gravity Ball: Power ball that influences the ball's direction and gravity in the game
Camouflage Ball: Power ball that makes the ball hard to see in the busy background with transparent effect. Camouflage ball might have other power ball's effect.
Splitter Ball: Power ball that splits into two balls upon contact, making the game more intense.
