Ball & Slider Mechanic
BALL MECHANIC
In this game, the ball starts by randomly shooting to the lower left or lower right. The ball's strength progresses significantly, with the initial minutes featuring standard gameplay. However, over time, the ball rebounds with increasing power and speed, eventually posing a challenge to overwhelmed players.
The progression in the strength of the Pong ball is solely generated naturally by the velocity and Rigidbody physics in Unity.
SLIDER MECHANIC
The sliders in this game function similarly to those in traditional Pong, with upward and downward movement controlled by 'W' and 'S.' The sliders are designed to have a moderate size, striking a balance between being neither too large nor too small.
INTERACTION MECHANIC
Players can control the direction of the ball's shot solely by manipulating the slider. When a player moves the slider downward, the ball will be shot downward, and vice versa.
The strength of the ball's shot is also influenced by how long the player moves the slider in response to the ball. If the player remains stationary, the rebounded ball will not be as strong.
